Plexi-Chemie

I would
like to take this opportunity to write this letter of recommendation
on behalf of the Plexi Chemie Company. I have had the occasion to
work with them on two projects, and have found their work to be
of the highest quality, and total commitment to customer satisfaction.
The
first major project consisted of the resurfacing of over 100,00k
square feet of flooring in calendar year 2000. It included warehouse
and shipping areas as well as a number of connecting ramps. The
challenges were many. As we run a 24/7 operation the job had to
be done without interruptions to the production flow. This was accomplished
with Plexi Chemie working through holidays and during the slower
third shift hours. They also planned the logistics of what sections
could be done at what times. As a result there was no loss of production
at anytime during the project.
In
addition the floor in question had not been properly prepared with
the correct amount of base stone at the time of it's initial installation.
This led to a very unstable floor with severe cracking. Plexi Chemie
was able to reengineer the formulation and utilized custom application
techniques to stabilize the floor and prevent future deterioration.
In over three years we have not had a single instance of cracking
or delaminating. This has saved us well in access of over $500,00
as the other options we were given included taking up the old floor
and re-pouring a new one.
The
second project was smaller but no less important to Nypro Inc. We
donated funds to the University of Massachusetts for the refurbishment
of a new laboratory. As Nypro's name would be on the lab it was
very important that the floor be up to our very high standards.
Once again Plexi Chemie did an outstanding job. At their own charge
they wrapped the flooring part way up the wall to create a dramatic
look and an easier to keep clean option. The University is grateful
to Plexi Chemie for their support.
